Method

No tricks. The reading, done properly.

There is no trick to it, and we will not pretend there is. It is patient, thorough work: the kind that gets done when someone cares enough not to cut the corners everyone else cuts.

Why us

We do one thing, for firms like yours.

We are not built to serve everyone. We do a single, narrow kind of work, and we do it for the people who run their own firms and take them seriously. That focus is the point. Because it is the only thing we do, we do it properly.

How it's done

Four judgements, made on your behalf.

I

We find who is worth approaching.

We sift your whole market down to the few firms that matter to you this month. Not everyone. The ones worth your time.

II

We find the person who can say yes.

Not a switchboard, not a general inbox. The named individual with the authority to decide, the person most firms never get past.

III

We check that it is real.

Every email is verified before it reaches you: a real, working address for the named person, or it never ships. We do the checking, so you don't.

IV

We tell you why it matters now.

Each entry comes with the reason to approach: who has just expanded, whose contract is up, who has changed hands. Every briefing is built fresh, so what reaches you in March is true in March.

The engine

State of the art, and entirely our own.

Behind every briefing is a research engine we designed and built in-house. It reads across the whole of your market at once and keeps reading, month after month, watching for the few signals that mean a firm is suddenly worth approaching: a new site opened, a contract coming up for renewal, a change at the top. What would take a team weeks, and be out of date by the time they finished, it does continuously, at a scale no one person could hold in their head.

New production facility, Banbury

“We are happy to announce the opening of our new production facility in Banbury, expanding our capacity to serve customers across the region.”

1The signal

A firm shows a sign it is ready to hear from you.

The Turnbull engine
  • Reads the signal
  • Resolves the decision-maker
  • Finds and verifies the email
  • Drafts the opening
2The engine

It reads the signal, names the decision-maker, and verifies the email.

3The briefing

A member of our team writes it up and verifies every detail is accurate. It reaches you as one researched entry: who, why now, and how to open.

The new Banbury site

Congratulations on the new facility. Is the cleaning contract going out to tender soon? We look after several sites on similar scale nearby. Worth a quick 15-minute call?

4It lands

You reach out, in the right moment, with the words already drafted.

A worked example, start to finish.

None of it is licensed or bought in. We built it, we run it, and we sharpen it every month. That is why a competitor cannot simply acquire the same edge.

The work is as much in what we discard.

We would rather hand you a hundred prospects worth calling than a thousand that waste your week. Anyone can pad a briefing. A firm with judgement throws most of it away. What reaches you has earned its place.

The surest way to judge the method is to see it.

We will apply it to your own firm, at no charge, and you can decide for yourself.
